Ingredients for a Kindness Kit: Just What You Need for Easy Service Opportunities


(Amy found and copied the following ideas for a 'Kindness Kit' at the Pennies of Time Blog that you can find here.  This Blog is written by a lovely lady who aims to complete 15-20 minutes service with her children each day.  The idea of the kindness kit is to gather together some of the bits and pieces that are often useful when giving acts of service, and keep them close at hand for whenever they are needed.  You might have seen the Kindness Kit that Amy put together for the 'Love' theme station at Women's Conference. Here are the 'ingredients':)


Kindness Kit Ingredients


  • Homeless Care Kit in a Sock
    • Soap
    • Lotion
    • Band-Aid’s
    • Hand sanitizer (alcohol-free)
    • Mouthwash (alcohol-free)
    • Deodorant
    • Toothbrushes
    • wet ones wipes
    • toothpaste
    • sunscreen
    • socks (to put it all in)

  • some dollars
  • Kleenex
  • balloons to make hats or animal balloons and a balloon pump
  • gum
  • FUN Band-Aid’s
  • paper flower ready to hand out
  • note cards and pencils
  • texta
  • chocolate
  • wipes
  • post-its
  • stickers
  • lollies
  • $5 gift cards
  • plastic bags for collecting trash
  • latex-free gloves
  • In the summer, we keep extra snacks and water bottles.
